Fifteen organizations helped families with a Christmas celebration this year through the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program.

Envoy Ken Locke said the program assisted 140 families this year. Through those families, 289 children ages 12 and under were given a gift, a book, and a set of a hat and gloves. Sixty teenagers were given gift cards from the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary.

2019 marked the 31st annual Angel Tree outreach according to officials.
