Snow returning to northern Indiana at the beginning of the week

Snow could return to northern Indiana as the work week begins.

WNDU Meteorlogist Cindi Clawson reports an upper level wave will move through on Monday with lake-effect snow possible Monday night into early Wednesday.

Accumulation during the day on Monday will be minor, but under lake-effect bands overnight Monday night into Tuesday morning there could be an inch or two, perhaps more if bands are persistent.

That means possible slick roads on your Tuesday morning commute.

Light lake-effect snow continues through Tuesday, and even in to early Wednesday before high pressure settles in and helps to clear things off.

Temperatures will be in the 30s along with that snow the first few days of the week, but the week ends with a warm up and even a chance for rain.
