Three people could be facing charges following an investigation into drug activity in Claypool.

Claypool Town Marshal Ben Sanders says his department, along with NET 43, responded to a tip about possible illegal drug activity at a home in the 200-block of East Calhoun Street. The department executed on a search warrant last Tuesday, where officers found multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine and hypodermic syringes.

Police say formal charges are pending against 50-year old Paul Berkey of Claypool for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a syringe and possession of paraphernalia. 23-year old Anthony Milton of Plymouth and 31-year old Andrew Taylor of Syracuse have formal charges pending of visiting a common nuisance.

Sanders said no on-site arrests were made last Tuesday.
