We now have more details on the reason why a vehicle ended up in Center Lake this morning. Emergency responders arrived to the scene to find a blue Subaru almost fully submerged in the water. The dive team was called to the scene to search for any individuals. No one was in the car when it entered the water. According to the Warsaw Police Department, the 2008 Subaru Forester was registered to a Lisa Donovan of Newberry, FL, the mother of the suspected driver. The suspected driver came to the Warsaw Police Department at 8:51 a.m. and was interviewed by the investigating officer. The driver, 20 year old Ava Donovan of Warsaw advised that she was driving around and messing with her phone and did not see the lake as she drove north on Buffalo Street sometime between 2:00 and 3:00 a.m. The investigation is ongoing and it is unknown if any charges will be filed at this time.
