Hoosier lawmakers are reacting after Senate passage of the $1.5 trillion dollar Republican tax bill early Saturday morning. Not a single Democrat voted in favor of the legislation, including Democratic Sen. Joe Donnelly who says he did not support it because it raises taxes on the middle class. The bill would bring the first major overhaul of the U.S. tax system in three decades. It was supported by Republican Senator Todd Young who says Indiana small business owners will benefit. The measure must be reconciled with a version the House passed last month.
