Warsaw Man Arrested For Threatening Woman With Shotgun

A Warsaw man has been arrested after threatening a woman with a shotgun. Our Partner in news, The Times Union says police responded to a report of domestic battery Monday near Levi Lee Road in Warsaw and spoke with the victim, according to an affidavit filed by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office. The victim told officers that 59 year old Ronnie Poe of Warsaw had grabbed her by her right arm and grabbed her by her fingers and attempted to break them by twisting and pulling on her hand. Police noticed bruising on her upper right arm, fingers and hands, according to the affidavit. The woman told police Poe had grabbed a shotgun, pointed it at her and stated, “I’m going to blow your brains out.” Police spoke with Poe, who admitted grabbing the woman and that he had a shotgun behind the door, which they located. Poe was arrested and booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on charges of domestic battery and intimidation with a deadly weapon. He was held on a $2,000 bond.
