Woodrow W. “Woody” Goad, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully at Parkview Regional Medical Center on Sunday November 28, 2021, at the age of 76.
He was born in Tennessee on January 27, 1945, the son of Leonard and Veda Goad. Woody worked at Dalton Foundry for many years until his retirement. He served our country in the United States Army.
Woody was a longtime member of the American Legion Post #49. While there, he enjoyed playing cards with his friends and shooting pool. He also was an avid hunter and loved to play golf.
Woody will be deeply missed by his sons, Marc (Elizabeth) Greene and LeRoy (Zola) Greene; siblings, Genoa Goad, Pete Goad, and Eulonda; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is further survived by many extended family member and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Hoite Goad, and grandson Logan Greene.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family. Friends and family may gather for a Life Celebration® on Friday, December 3rd, 2021, from 1:00PM until 3:00PM at the American Legion Post #49, 301 N Buffalo St, Warsaw, IN 46580.
