WINONA LAKE – Phend & Brown Inc. provided a construction update Wednesday evening on the intersection improvement at Winona Avenue, Kings Highway, Argonne Road and Park Avenue in Winona Lake.
The intersection is where a roundabout is planned to go in.
Changing weather conditions and/or internal schedule changes may alter the dates. Traffic control signage and detour markings will be provided in advance of and during any closure, the release states.
Phase 1 is the ongoing storm sewer work which will impact travel lanes on Winona Avenue beginning Thursday, Aug. 25 through Friday, Aug. 26.
During this portion of the operation, flaggers will be used as traffic will be restricted to one lane on Winona Avenue. At the end of each workday, traffic will be restored to the normal two-way operation.
An alternate route is suggested to avoid delays.
