Milford residents John McQuade and Micah Mansfield were honored by Milford Fire Department and the town at Monday’s Town Council meeting for their heroic acts during a recent fire.
Fire Chief Virgil Sharp said the fire happened April 7 at SR 15 and Catherine Street. McQuade and Mansfield were working nearby.
People were trapped on the second floor, and McQuade and Mansfield used a ladder to help them get out.
